Merc is an avid weightlifter and a fan of any sport that results in bruising. She discovered Pilates while living the corporate life. When she realized that teaching Pilates was more than simply memorizing exercises, she knew it was an undertaking that could keep her interested and challenged.
She entered the intensive 700-hour apprenticeship training program at the Pilates Seattle International Studio. Her master teachers included Lori Colman-Brown, Lauren Stephen, Sari Mejia Santo and Romana Kryzanowska. Merc enjoys teaching Pilates to everyone and offers intense workouts with humor and fun.

Jack became a Personal Fitness Trainer in1999. He wanted to compliment his training with a systematic method to stretch and strengthen his core, so he began taking weekly Pilates sessions. Soon, after a summit of Mt. Rainier he noticed quick muscle recovery and more strength than in previous climbs. The efficient use of his body, core strength, and newfound flexibility sold him on the Pilates method “hook, line and sinker”.
He decided to get serious about studying Pilates. After a year of hard work in training, education, apprenticeship, and exams, Jack was certified in 2005 in New York City under the guidance of Joseph Pilates protégée Romana Kryzanowska. Since then Jack has worked side by side with master teachers such as Lori Coleman-Brown, Dorothee VandeWalle, and Sari Mejia Santo. He is dedicated to his continuing education with them as well as with Jay Grimes. Jack believes in an enthusiastic and energetic teaching style to inspire his love of physical and mental fitness.
